Why an affiliate program and how does it work?

In the past, Utopia Aquatic has rewarded referrals with coupon codes. However, we have developed an affiliate program with a strong earning potential.

  1. You refer a customer to us.
  2. The customer browses our tropical water lily store and adds items to their cart.
  3. During checkout the customer mentions you for referring them (section: how did you hear about us?).
  4. The checkout process is then fully completed (items paid for, purchase shipped and delivered).
  5. The payout formula is then applied and your earnings are then paid to your PayPal account.

Acceptance in our affiliate program is a privilege. We will not tolerate fraud nor will we tolerate spamming.

FAQ

Is there an affiliate tracking code?

We do not use affiliate tracking codes because our checkout process is unique. Submitting an order via our store simply initiates the order process. The checkout process is not complete until the customer receives their order.


How will I receive payment?

Payments are only made via PayPal. This means that you must have an account with PayPal in order to receive payment.

Base Payout Formula

Total after any applicable discounts (coupons) but before tax and shipping is known as Subtotal. Therefore the formula is:

Subtotal*10%


Examples

Subtotal = $50
No coupons apply
$50*10% --> [50*0.10] =
payout of $5.00

 

Subtotal total = $115
10% coupon applies
$115*10% --> [115*0.10] = $11.50
$115-11.50 = $103.50
$103.50*10% --> [103.50*0.10] = payout of $10.35

Tiered Earnings Levels

Base: 10%

After 3 referrals: 15%

After 6 referrals: 20%

After 7 referrals: 25%

Payout Schedule

Earnings are paid out within 10 days of reffered customer receiving their order.
